I have a couple of entertainment news items that have come across my radar and annoyed the heck out of me. Since I am such a giver, I thought I would share them with you. You’re welcome in advance.

First up is Gerard Butler. Now I’m a big fan, and have been since Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. He has hit it big, and is enjoying his fame, getting to hook up with all of the Hollywood bimbos. He’s been linked to Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Hayden Panettiere, etc. etc. More power to him, enjoy the fruits of your labor and manwhore your heart out, I would never begrudge him that luxury. But he is rumored to have hooked up with the “Train Wreck” that was once known as Lindsay Lohan. (http://perezhilton.com/2009-11-02-lindsay-and-gerard-butlers-hot-hookup) This supposedly happened at some fancy launch party for some place I’ll never be able to afford to go to in Morocco . Anyway, Lindsay used to be a hot mess, so Gerry hooking up with her wouldn’t be a big deal, but recently Ms Lohan has dropped the “hot” and is just a freakin’ “mess”. This girl is pretty much where Brittney Spears was in 2007. She needs an intervention and quick. Unfortunately for her, she has a “mess” of a family so any help for her is probably not gonna happen in the near future.

Ok, you must be asking why I care about this? Well I don’t really know why. I guess I figured he would have better taste, or standards. Ok how about a moral compass. It just seems like he’s taking advantage of someone when they’re down. Since he can pretty much have anyone in Hollywood, why bother with someone who is obviously in crises and lets face it, has seen better days looks-wise. Hopefully this whole rant is for nothing and he really didn’t hook up with her. Next is little Ms. Hannah Montana, aka Miley Cyrus. Now I never knew who she was until recently. I thought Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus were two different people. I’m actually kind of proud of that fact. I recently figured out that she is one person, has lots of money and is posing half naked in magazines even though she is like 16, whatever. She has a new song out, “Party in the USA ”, I hate to admit it, but I found myself singing the refrain in my head and decided that, against my better judgment, I liked the little ditty. I did what most of us electronically gadget equipped folks do when they like a song, I download it from iTunes. That was yesterday. I come to work this morning and read that this little twit doesn’t like the song. She states that she only picked the song to record to go with her clothing line. I know nothing about her clothing line, and don’t want to. Now in the song she sings about Jay Z. This is great, it’s current, and she’s hip, yay Miley!!! Here comes the next problem, she says she has never actually heard a Jay Z song. How is this possible? What rock has she been living under? She has never heard a Jay Z song? Not a sample or a song featuring him? It’s freakin’ Jay Z, how could she never have heard a song by him? It’s not like he’s The Jonas Brothers or that little Justin Whatever kid that is like 12 and sounds like a girl. No, it’s Jay Z. He’s a freakin’ musical legend. She is an idiot and I feel totally defrauded. The only saving grace is that I had an iTunes gift certificate and I didn’t spend my own $1.29 on her stupid song.

One final thought, WTF is up with is up with Sammy Sosa’s face?????
