LIVE BY THE 3 DIE BY THE 3

Charles Barkley thought long and hard last night when asked if the Orlando Magic were the best team in the East...finally he said yes they were...Kenny "The Jet" Smith was very disturbed by the response as was I...his reason was they have the deepest team in the league...then Kenny asked if they were deeper than LA and he said yes...really Charles? Last time I checked Lamar Odom is better than anyone off Orlando's bench...lets not speak about the Trailblazer subs which are also better than Orlando's led by Rudy Fernandez...

So I watched Orlando last night and I saw a team that definitely got BETTER...no question about it...but the teams philosophy is still the same as last season and its losing basketball...shoot 3's all day...they have great shooters but they get caught up in the 3's way too much...this team IS NOT BETTER THAN BOSTON...they don't have killer instinct and their two best players are soft...yes Dwight is soft...there is NO REASON why Okur should be able to handle Dwight...I mean c'mon Dwight...Kendrick Perkins showed the league the blueprint on how to handle Dwight...it doesn't take athleticism to stop him...just put a big body in front of him that he can't back down and Dwight will put up one of the horrible hook shots Pat Ewing taught him or simply kick it back out to Vince for another 3 pointer...

Orlando takes big leads early and then they let teams comeback cause they can't stop shooting 3's even when they're missing them...its the reason they couldn't win last year and the reason they won't win this year...and sorry Orlando fans one key point that should make you sick to your stomach is the fact that because your team shoots so many threes that means your gonna play a lot of close games...yes your team is overall BETTER but so is Boston, Atlanta, and Cleveland...and in those close games Vince Carter UNDOUBTEDLY WILL HAVE THE BALL IN HIS HANDS...yes its a no-brainer Vinnie is better than Turk...but its also a no-brainer that Turk is MUCH BETTER IN HITTING CLUTCH SHOTS...Orlando is overrated just like their best players...

ReizanDec 14 2009 12:51PMI agree 100 percent the phrase is "Live by the three DIE by the three" emphasis on die if those shots ain't going down then you go with other plays but noooo Orlando will shoot the three even when none of it is going down so yea when its going in they're unstoppable but when it doesn't(which is a good amount of the time)they jus give it to Vince and Dwight two players who don't work well with together.Dwight is very stoppable cause hes not physical and Vince plays by himself and plays next to no defense sooo Boston is waaaaay better then the Magic cause if you stop KG there is Pierce, stop Pierce then there is Allen, stop Allen then there goes Rondo, stop Rondo here comes Perkin, and then even Sheed(now playing the post more) can beat ya thats what I call unstoppable
