San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals
The Niners lost a heartbreaker last weekend to the Cowboys in overtime but should be able to bounce back nicely against the surprising 1-1 Bengals. Niners 28 Bengals 17.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Carolina Panthers
Rookie QB Blaine Gabbert gets the starting nod for the Jags going head to head with Panthers stud rookie Cam Newton. I am starting to believe in Cam. This week is win number 1. Panthers 24 Jags 13.
New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
With or without Mike Vick the Giants have had this game on their calendar for almost a year now.
Giants 24 Eagles 17.
Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings
The Lions have been cruising along enjoying life as an NFL contender but this game has a particularly cruel way of humbling you. Vikings 24 Lions 21.
Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans
The Titans are a surprising 1-1 because they are allowing the 3rd fewest points in the NFL. I honestly can't see that trend going on for too much longer. Denver 31 Tennessee 17.
Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns
The Dolphins are looking around left and right for answers but the answer is as plain as the logos on their helmets. They are not that good. Browns 21 Dolphins 17.
Houston Texans at New Orleans Saints
The Texans have only given up 20 points through their first 2 games. The Saints may match that total by the end of quarter number 1. This game will not be close. N.O. 38 Houston 24.
New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
The level of play that we are seeing for Pats QB Tom Brady may be the best ever for the position in the history of the sports existence. Enjoy every second you can see this guy under center this season. N.E. 48 Buffalo 27.
Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego Chargers
Although the Chiefs absolutely suck (to keep it 100), this is a divisional game and anything is possible. Chargers 31 Chiefs 30.
Baltimore Ravens at St. Louis Rams
The Jekyll and Hyde Ravens will be animals again this weekend catching the banged up Rams on a short week. Baltimore 28 Rams 10.
New York Jets at Oakland Raiders
I believe the Jets are for real. The Raiders are no slouches though and will give them all they can handle at home. Jets 27 Raiders 21.
Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Although I think the Falcons are the better team, coming off the emotions of Vicks return the Falcons will not have enough to drop the Bucs to 0-2 at home on the young season. Tampa Bay 24 Atlanta 17.
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
The pathetic Seahawks are averaging less than 10 points per game through the first two weeks of the season, the Cardinals meanwhile are putting up 25 a game. No brainer. Arizona 31 Seattle 13.
Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears
The Packers pass defense is giving up tons of yards and Jay Cutler has always played well against the Pack. A classic tilt in the black and blue division. Chicago 28 Green Bay 27.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts
This game will be over before the coin hits the turf to determine who gets first possession. Pittsburgh 35 Colts 10.
