Friday Night:
San Antonio 102 Cleveland 97.
Since Tony Parker went down with a broken hand a couple of weeks ago, Manu Ginobili has been the best player in the Western Conference and the Spurs are moving up the Western Conference standings with the diligence of a champion. The rest of the West better take notice.
New Jersey 118 Detroit 110.
The Pistons hit a new low in losing to one of the worst teams in NBA history. They allowed career highs from both Brook Lopez (37) and Yi Jianlian (31) as the two COMBINED to shoot 78% from the field. The Pistons prized Free Agent acquisitions over the past summer (Charlie V & Big Game Ben) combined to score just 22 points. Then again this same team notoriously drafted one Darko Milicic ahead of such "no-names" as Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.
Oklahoma City 91 Los Angelas 75
The Final margin of defeat for the Lakers was 16 but this game was nowhere near that close. Kevin Durant led the way with 26 points and Russell Westbrook chipped in with 23. The Lakers are still the favorites to come out of the West but there are several chinks in the once impenetrable armor.
Saturday Night:
Dallas 111 Golden State 90
Rodrigue Beaubois followed the rookie trend this season of posting career highs against the defenseless Warriors. He scored 40 points on 9-11 shooting from 3 point range in just 29 minutes to help the Mavs snap out of their recent funk.
Sunday:
Miami 97 Toronto 94
Flash Wade scored 32 points grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 6 assists as the Heat added some additional fuel to Raptors late season fire free fall from the playoffs.
Phoenix 111 Minnesota 105
The Suns are shining right now and are the hottest team in the NBA. They have won 7 straight games and are averaging just a shade under 122 points per game. Ama're Stoudemire has been especially dominant on the offensive end averaging 28.8 ppg and 10 rpg in the month of March.

Chicago 110 Detroit 102
Couple with the Raptors 3rd straight loss the Bulls are now within a 1/2 a game of the 8th seed in the race to lose to the Cavs in round 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
March Madness:
2 number 5 seeds, a 2 seed and a number 1 round out this years NCAA Men's Final Four.
Game 1
Butler vs. Michigan State
Tom Izzo is as underrated a college Head Coach as there is. All his teams do is get to the Final Four. And that is All they will do this season as well. Butler by 3.
Duke vs. West Virginia
Both teams appear to have DESTINY on their side. Both won their conference tourneys and have not slowed down in the NCAA tournament. West Virginia is the better defensive team and will ultimately play for the title next Monday night. West Virginia by 2.
And the 2010 NCAA National Champions: WEST VIRGINIA.

| Reizan | Apr 2 2010 10:35AM | Celtics weren't whining if you actually look at the replays of the game you could see the Celtics were in the paint more and weren't getting any foul calls yet the Thunder shot alot of jump shots but still got more foul calls.Yes the Celtics did let those huge threes go by near the end but still not right. Refs been doin this to the Celtics all year and I'm just not speaking as a Celtics fan jus as a pure watcher of the game. Even Paul Pierce ,a master at getting the free throw line, is barely getting to the line nowadays. |
| Reizan | Apr 2 2010 10:37AM | Also Tiger Woods and his people need to shut up blaming Barkley and Jordan. Tiger is a big boy who knows what he was doing so don't blame Barkley and Jordan for El Tigre's little crimes against society. Seriously if you saw those text he sent you know nobody teaches that! |
