(16) Toronto (20-17) The Raptors have won their last 3 games including a double overtime game against the Blazers on Sunday. In those 3 victories Chris Bosh has averaged 33ppg and 9rpg.
(12) Cleveland (19-18) After winning four in a row, the Cavs took a step back losing to Atlanta and then needing overtime to defeat the Bobcats.
(13) New Jersey (18-18) Last week was not a strong week for the Nets losing to the Bobcats and the Celtics and winning against Seattle but so far in 2008 Jason Kidd is averaging a healthy 11.8ppg 11.0apg and 10.3rpg.
(18) Atlanta (16-17) Joe Johnson got out of his slump this past week averaging 29.7 per game. The Hawks play the Nuggets at home before going on the road for meetings with Milwaukee and Toronto.
(19) Indiana (17-22) Last season the Pacers allowed on 98.0 points per game compared to 104.7 this season, Jim O’Brien in the past has had his teams playing better defense.
(20) Chicago (14-21) Joakim Noahs teammates suspended him for an extra game after a altercation with one of the Bulls assistant coaches; apparently his teammates didn’t think his one game suspension was enough.
(23) Milwaukee (15-22 ) The Bucks are 4 and 3 in the new year in large part thanks to Andrew Bogut who is averaging 17.3 points per game and 9.9 rebounds in January.
(24) Sacramento (14-21) With so many injuries to the Kings stars and trade rumors flying around, John Salmons has gone unnoticed and is having his best season as a pro at 17.1 points per game.
(21) Philadelphia (14-23) Philadelphia has lost 6 in a row and their schedule is tough this week with games at San Antonio, Houston, Boston and then they are home to face the Toronto.
(22) Charlotte (13-23) After getting a revenge victory against the Celtics, the Bobcats lost to Cleveland and Detroit in overtime, tough breaks.
(25) LA Clippers (10-23) Chris Kaman has led the Clippers in rebounding 28 times this season, they play Phoenix, Utah and New Jersey this week.
(26) Memphis (10-27) The Grizzlies are on a five game losing streak and I expect them to make a move before the trade deadline.
(29) New York (10-26) The Knicks continue to surprise as they beat the Pistons Sunday but it still is not good when the coach has to tell everyone he is not quitting.
(27) Seattle (9-27) After playing so so in December the Sonics have lost six in a row, and word has it that Durant is disappointed with the play of some of his teammates.
(30) Minnesota (5-29) The Wolves beat Miami but Minnesota fans should be very disappointed in their team as they continue to play sloppy basketball.
(28) Miami (8-28) A 10 game losing streak and Shaq is out, Pat Riley maybe out of the picture after this year and Wade is still ailing. Miami has definitely seen better days.
